Overview Pattern Weaving is an advanced technique available on the <a href="handbook://spinningwheel:fly-shuttle-loom-guide">Flying Shuttle Loom</a> that allows you to create decorative checkered fabrics by combining different colored threads. Requirements Pattern Weaving requires both the Tailor's Delight and Wool and More mods to be installed. Without both mods, the Pattern tab will not be visible. How It Works Unlike normal weaving which uses a single input slot, pattern weaving uses a 2x2 grid where the placement of threads determines the checkered pattern. Threads are arranged diagonally: [ Accent ] [ Base ] [ Base ] [ Accent ] Standard Colors For standard checkered cloth (red, blue, green, etc.): - Accent (diagonal): Colored Thread (e.g., Red Thread) - Base (diagonal): Flax Twine or Plain Wool Twine Dark Colors For dark checkered cloth (dark red, dark blue, dark green, dark brown): - Accent (diagonal): Dark Thread (e.g., Dark Red Thread) - Base (diagonal): Lighter counterpart (e.g., Red Thread) Dark patterns pair the dark thread with its non-dark variant instead of flax twine or plain wool twine. Step by Step 1. Sit at the Flying Shuttle Loom 2. Open the loom interface 3. Switch to the Pattern tab 4. Place accent thread in top-left and bottom-right slots 5. Place base thread in top-right and bottom-left slots 6. Begin weaving to produce checkered cloth Tips - The accent thread determines the output cloth color - Ensure threads are placed in the correct diagonal positions - Either Flax Twine or Plain Wool Twine can be used as the base for standard colors
